About Alison

Alison is a filmmaker looking for work in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in rural Vermont, she found great joy making movies as a small child, a hobby that continues to this day. It was after she won an award at her youth film festival in high school that her dream of working in Hollywood was solidified. Now, nearly eight years later, she hopes to see that dream into reality.

Alison has been working professionally in filmmaking since 2017. After beginning her career with lots of editing experience, she has since earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and specializes in writing and directing, although she also gained experience with basic animation in Adobe After Effects, script supervising, directing photography, and assistant camera positions. She also has a current US drone pilot's license. Having spent time in all stages of production, she has a solid understanding of how each decision will impact those further down the line of production. She is good at taking direction, collaborating with other creatives, and meeting deadlines.

Alison is excited to continue to expand her portfolio, connect with other industry professionals, and gain valuable experience in many positions within the realm of filmmaking. Feel free to reach out with job inquiries and further questions at any time to alikimfilm@gmail.com.
